The Casa D home in Sicily is an exquisitely contemporary style house, with light and bright interiors, flanked by large external patios from where it is possible to admire the splendid cityscape.
The large windows that extend from floor to ceiling allow continuity between the interiors and the surrounding landscape. It provides reflections of light and transparency and gives shape to articulated but airy spaces - open and of the highest architectural quality.
To obtain maximum transparency, ensure a high level of comfort, and minimize obstacles of the outside view, the architects chose the Reynaers' SlimPatio 68 aluminum sliding system. This sliding door emphasizes, even more, the sense of openness thanks to the “open corner” variant.
SlimPatio 68's exceptionally thin profiles and the recessed threshold blend perfectly with the modern design of the home. Even when the sliding door is closed, it offers spectacular views of the scenery.
Consistent with the elegant and minimal design of the sliding glass panes, the windows utilized are Reynaers ConceptSystem 77 Hidden Vent hinged system with concealed elements for a minimalist window. Furthermore, the large fixed windows are the Reynaers panoramic sliding system HiFinity: a reliable and aesthetically refined solution, which once again favors transparency and brightness within the rooms of the house.
