Data Management Officer

 You will play a key role in maintaining and enriching article data in our CPQ (Configure Price Quote) software.

Your key responsibilities are:

Based on technical documentation and drawings, you enter profiles data & hardware & operations (milling, drilling, etc. for CNC machines) into the CPQ. You will prepare parameterizations based on technical developments and link the correct operations to the appropriate hardware.

Further responsibilites are:

  • You ensure high data quality, check for errors, and make corrections where needed.
  • You document and maintain recommendations for special operations.
  • You perform testing of these configurations before they are released.
  • You also test new versions of the software to ensure smooth functionality.
  • By spotting trends, reporting bugs, and escalating any potential risks, you contribute to the ongoing improvement of data quality and help prevent future data gaps. You actively suggest ways to simplify and optimize data input processes.
  • If colleagues have questions about data entry or data quality, they turn to you. But you also take initiative in advising stakeholders across the organization to foster continuous improvement.
  • You gather all complaints or feedback, evaluate them together with technical teams within Reynaers, and communicate well-founded complaints and suggestions to the software supplier.
  • You provide technical advice to both the software supplier and the internal colleagues responsible for the software. This includes sharing the necessary technical information (documentation, drawings, etc.) so that software developers can integrate updates quickly and accurately.
  • You also assess the feasibility of software changes with the supplier and collaborate to find the best possible solutions.

Your profile:

  •  You hold a Bachelor’s degree or have equivalent experience through hands-on work.
  • You’re fluent in English and have knowledge of the Dutch language. Afterall we're a global community.

  • Experience or affinity with technical data, building materials, or AutoCAD (or similar CAD software) is a big plus.
